I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
